Plastic Surgeons

Dr. Michael Jacoby MD, FRCSC

Dr. Jacoby was a graduate of the University of Calgary Medical School in 1993 and went on to complete his specialty training program in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Western Ontario in 1998. Since that time Dr. Jacoby has been in active community practice, initially in Charlottetown PEI, moving to Kamloops in January of 2001. He enjoys a wide spectrum of practice with a special interest in breast surgery and body contouring surgery.

Dr. Jacoby's current affiliations and memberships include:

• Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada
• Member of the Canadian Society of Plastic Surgeons
• Member of the Canadian Society of Aesthetic (Cosmetic) Plastic Surgeons

Dr. Mark Sunderland MD, FRCSC

Dr. Sunderland obtained his Medical Degree at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario in 1973, and completed his Internship and year of Surgical residency at the Vancouver General Hospital.

From 1975 to 1978 he worked at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg completing his Plastic Surgery residency program and obtained his Fellowship with the Royal College of Surgeons in 1978.

He is a member of the following Institutions:

From 1993 to 1998 he served as Chief of the Department of Surgery at the Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops, B.C. He is a past President of the Kamloops Medical Society and an active Member in the Department of Surgery at the Royal Inland Hospital of Kamloops, B.C. since 1978.
